York Region Early Intervention Services (EIS) delivers programs that support families who have children with special needs in their homes or licensed child care settings. The kit is an easy-to-use checklist that allows parents and professionals to identify developmental issues and guide them to the appropriate treatment as soon as possible. It is a system for children six months to five years of age, the years most important to a child’s development, intervention and rehabilitation.
