Family Support Programs
Family Support Programs connect children, parents, and caregivers with free and low-cost supports available across York Region. Programs are offered by trusted community partners and may be delivered in person or online.

All Babies Count (ABC)
ABC is a free weekly program that promotes healthy pregnancies in a friendly and welcoming environment. Participants receive support and information on topics such as pre and postnatal nutrition, breastfeeding, infant feeding, healthy lifestyle, parenting, and community resources.

Community Action Program for Children (CAPC)
Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) is a Public Health Agency of Canada initiative that focuses on forming partnerships in the community.

Early Intervention Services
If you are worried about your child’s development, York Region can help. York Region Early Intervention Services (EIS) delivers programs that support families who have children with special needs in their homes or licensed child care settings. EarlyON Child and Family Centres – York Region
EarlyON Child and Family Centres (EarlyON centres) offer free support services and programs to parents, caregivers, and their children from birth to six years old in Ontario.

Healthy Babies, Health Children Program
The Healthy Babies Healthy Children Program (HBHC) is a home visiting program. Healthy Babies Healthy Children provides eligible families with information, support and connections to community resources. In this program, parents are connected with a registered nurse and a family resource worker. They offer support and services to meet the needs of parents.

Kinark Child and Family Services
Kinark is committed to helping children and youth with complex needs achieve better life outcomes. At Kinark, our goal is to help children, youth and families manage the challenges they face today and equip them with the skills they will need to realize a brighter future.

Kumba
Kuumba (koo-OOM-bah) is a counselling and therapy program offered through York Hills Centre for Children, Youth and Families.
Kuumba is a specialized mental health and wellness program for children, youth (ages 0-25), families and caregivers from the Black and Black- identifying community that provides a safe place centering culture, compassion and empowerment.
