Honouring the lived experiences of everyone is not always easy — but as Early Childhood Educators, it is essential. This session invites the early learning community to reflect on what it means to create truly inclusive environments where every child, family, and educator feels seen, valued, and respected for who they are.
Through open dialogue and guided reflection using the RRCM (Remember, Reflect, Change, Maintain©) framework, participants will explore the impact of bias, language, and representation in early learning spaces. Together, we will remember the importance of identity, reflect on our practices and beliefs, identify opportunities for change, and commit to maintaining environments that celebrate authenticity and belonging.
This workshop provides practical strategies for affirming gender diversity, supporting emotional well-being, and strengthening inclusive communication — reminding us that visibility is more than recognition; it is a commitment to equity, empathy, and humanity.
